All visitors must stop at the Rangers Headquarters if arriving between 8am. & 8pm.
If the Rangers residence is unattended, please check the campsite blackboard located at the Ranger Station for your name and proceed to your designated site.
Arrival's outside of the above hours are asked to quietly pass the Rangers residence and, proceed to their designated campsite.
At the time of this writing the Ranger/Caretakers of the Steep Point area are Paul & Pam Dickenson.
The Steep Point area is now managed by the Department of Environment and Conservation. You will need to complete a camping permit request form to book campsites before entering the area. A copy of the permit request and information on fee's that apply is available below.
Campsites are often full so submit a camping permit request form early to avoid disappointment.
