Weather at the Point
All vehicle's entry fee is $20.00 per trip, plus $2.00 G.S.T.
Each Person is $5.00 per day for the length of your stay.
Children under the age of 15 years are Free.
You will need to complete and sign the permit at least 5 days before entering Steep Point.
Eftpos facilities are available at the Rangers Headquarters
A $100.00 Environmental levy is payable and will be refunded when you depart.
If you are found to be not conforming to the Permit requirements, you will forfiet the $100.00 levy.
All visitors must stop at the Rangers Headquarters if arriving between 8am. & 8pm.
If the Rangers residence is unattended, please continue on and select your camping location.
Arrival's outside of the above hours are asked to quietly pass the Rangers residence, select a camping area and the Ranger will visit you later in the day.
At the time of this writing the Ranger/Caretakers of the Steep Point area are Paul & Pam Dickenson.
Paul and Pam offer friendly helpful advice on all enquiries and many a visitor to Steep Point have spent an hour or two on the rear patio area of the Ranger Headquarters sharing a drink and a story overlooking a million dollar view.
